Account information: such as your name and email address when you create an account.

Uploaded content: the audio and video files you upload, along with metadata generated during processing (transcripts, timestamps, speaker labels, and editing selections).

Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited and features used.

Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service, including transcribing uploaded audio, generating clip suggestions, reframing video, applying captions, and selecting supporting media and music.

We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to understand how the Service is used and to improve performance and reliability.

4. Third-Party Processing

To provide the Service, we send uploaded audio to a speech-to-text provider for transcription, and send transcripts and related text to an AI language model provider for analysis (such as identifying hook moments, caption placement, and music or B-roll selection). We also retrieve stock media (images, video, and music) from a third-party media library using safe-search filtering restricted to verified, highly-rated contributors.

These third-party providers process data solely to deliver the requested functionality and are bound by their own privacy and data-handling obligations.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded source files are retained for 24 hours after upload and are automatically and permanently deleted afterward. Generated outputs (your exported clips) are retained for as long as your account is active, or until you delete them from your account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us through the support channel provided within the Service.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
